Speed Dating: WEB 2.0 Style
We are taking this approach with WEB 2.0 tools because there are so many of them. You will find some that will benefit you and your students. They may allow you to work more efficiently and effectively. They may allow your students to become more engaged in their learning and more actively involved in their own learning. You may find others that do not meet your needs.

During this time, you and your partner will be given 20 minutes to learn about, explore and record questions/ideas related to a particular WEB 2.0 tool. When the timer goes off, you will switch to a different tool. You will decide which tools to explore. You may want to explore tools that are new to you or get more information about a tool you have already used. Self guided learning is often more meaningful! We will take time to share comments, questions and ideas at the end of the session by collaborating on a Google Doc.

You will be creating accounts for many of the WEB 2.0 sites, so you may want to keep track of usernames and passwords.
